The Lycée Français Charles De Gaulle, London, is looking for a Qualified Primary Teacher (Fluent Level English Speaker) from 6th January 2025 to 23d May 2025 to be a specialist English Teacher at our site André Malraux in Ealing. We are looking for someone who would be available from 11 th November if needed.
The successful candidate would teach all aspects of English Language and Literature as well as some other subjects taken from the French Curriculum in English, in mixed-ability classes ranging from Nursery up to CM2 (Year 6). It is important candidates feel confident to teach in any of these years groups, particularly in Year 6. Candidates should be highly creative, dynamic, energetic and interested in working with our dedicated team of French and English teachers and our motivated young pupils.
Teachers must be willing to learn how our specialised English Programme has been adapted from the English National Curriculum to accommodate the fact that pupils are learning two languages.
A good working knowledge of French to understand the content of staff meetings and email communication is preferred but not essential. Interested candidates are required to fill in an application form. Successful candidates will be invited to teach an observation lesson and attend an interview on 11th November 2024.

Salary: Dependent upon experience and qualifications.
Working days: Full-time hours for the duration of this contract are split over four days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with Wednesdays off.
