We had a two-hour Shakespeare workshop given by Matthew Collins - who also teaches in the biggest prison in London!
We read scenes from Hamlet and Macbeth and acted out Hamlet's Act V Scene 1 "Alas poor Yorick".
Matthew gave a passionate speech on Hamlet's themes of romance and revenge. We explored the meaning of ghosts and witches in Shakespeare's work which was actually great fun!
