The students of Arabic went on a school trip to visit Marrakech, Casablanca and Rabat, organised by Mrs Bou-Antoun, Arabic teacher.
This was an opportunity to discover the Moroccan way of life through their popular activities in the huge market places, to practice their Arabic, to visit beautiful monuments such as Royal palaces, gardens and Casablanca Mosque.
The students had an amazing 4 days and gained unforgettable experiences and memories.
Our students share their thoughts:
"We visited the lovely and culturally rich country of Morocco. The atmosphere from the first plane ride to the end was immaculate which can only be attributed to Ms Bou-Antoun. We visited diverse cultural and historical sites such as the Hassan II mosque in Casablanca and the student favourite Jardin de Majorelle. The cherry on top of the whole trip has to be the amazing reception we received from the guides but also the restaurant staff who encouraged us to dabble in some traditional Moroccan dancing. Absolutely stunning trip." - Arman
"We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. We visited different places such as Marrakesh, Casablanca and Rabat. Each of the cities were unique. Marrakesh gave a really cultural and friendly vibe especially le Jardin Majorelle, recommended by fellow student Said. Casablanca had a stunning view and the mosque we visited was huge and lovely and my favourite part of the visit. We learnt so much about Moroccan culture and the way they live. Rabat was a mix of historical sites and modern building and I loved the contrast between the two. Million thanks to our guides, especially L’Ancien, for all the help and especially the teachers." - Adam & Said
"Reflecting on our recent trip has been truly amazing. The camaraderie and learning experiences as well as the fun activities made it unforgettable. Grateful for the opportunity and many thanks to Mrs Bou-Antoun!" - Daniel
