Students of History A Level attended the English National Opera's lively and charismatic production of It's a Wonderful Life at the Coliseum.
They did so not only to identify a narrative of the American Dream but also to usher in some Christmas spirit and recognition of life's important things - friends and family!
Dr Carsson has taken scores of Lycée students to the opera over the last 15 years, typically for free. [He wishes to draw attention to the] Arts Council's proposal to push the English National Opera out of London and drastically reduce its budget, [which would result in] our students losing a free cultural resource, as well as access to a world-class company on the Lycée's doorstep www.eno.org/about/love-eno/.
