Position to be filled: 27th August 2024

Main duties:

  • Reception and control of supplier’s delivery
  • Serves meals in compliance with safety standards and food hygiene regulations
  • Delivers collations enquiries inside the school’s departments (Coffee breaks, Cocktails…)
  • Receiving and checking the supplier’s deliveries
  • Unpacking and storage of goods
  • Performs preliminary preparations
  • Prepares, presents and serves the meals
  • Replaces the staff missing at different position throughout the catering department (Service, Kitchen Porter…)
  • Complies with H.A.C.C.P. food hygiene regulations and logs in relevant information into the traceability system
  • Maintains and cleans the catering premises and equipment in compliance with hygiene and security rules
  • Monitor the quality of food production
  • Support pupils of their choices (welcome, information…)

Requirements:

  • Training and/or catering experience
  • Knows HACCP method and adheres strictly to food safety regulations.
  • Dynamic, ability to take initiative and work as part of a team
  • Rigor and ability to work independently
  • Ability to perform task on time and at the time prescribed
  • Fluent in English, at least spoken English

Working hours: 40 hours per week (1600 hours per year) Monday to Friday, from 6:45 am to 14h45pm

Monthly gross salary: £ 2,349.99 (incl. all allowances)

All post holders are subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. (This procedure is undertaken by the Lycée).
