Our recent school exchange in Bologna, held from the 2nd to the 9th of May, was a great experience from all points of view.
- The students visited Bologna's historic district, the town hall, the old university, and the library, gaining a deep appreciation for the city's rich heritage.
- They also toured the Anatomy Theatre and enjoyed the best ice creams in town.
- Additionally, the students spent time with their Italian host families, enjoying free time at the beach in Rimini and playing football.
- They attended lessons in Italian, and some of our students even delivered lessons in English and French, as well as participated in drama activities in English and Italian with Mr. Jones and Ms. Ialenti.
- A visit to Modena, famous for its exquisite balsamic vinegar and renowned cars, was another highlight.
However, the pinnacle of the trip was the day spent in Florence, where the students engaged in an enriching workshop on Vasari. Parents have provided overwhelmingly positive feedback, noting the program's excellent organization and the invaluable experiences it offered. They observed significant growth in their children's confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for global learning and cultural exchange, making the exchange a resounding success.
- Lara’s mum: « Rosella, no words to thank you for the amazing trip you have organised!! Lara was so enthusiastic!! Talking and talking until midnight!! So many nice visits, new friendships. »
- Jeremy and Anthony's mum: « Yes!!! Thank you!! The boys are over the moon.»
- Leonard’s parents: « Huge thanks for this amazing trip @Rossella! Such a unique experience and great new friendships Such a unique experience and great new friendships.»
- Jade’s mum: « Thank you so much for everything - it was such a great experience for the children!!!»
We are now expecting the Italian students to be with us in London and are excited to spend a week together.
